| Introduction | I am learning to share my artwork over the net. This is all new to me, so bear with me. I have been creating small watercolors of inspirational quotes for a number of years now. I work in a small format to simplify the works. I use a Rapidograph pen and Winsor and Newton paints. I spent some time in art school and still kick around the idea of going back.Art is a wonderful gift and I want to share it with others, I hope that my work reaches people in a way that my words can't. For me art has always been about healing. A way to move beyond the ugliness that sometimes exists in the world and to create something beautiful. I know that I may not create a work that is beautiful to everyone. I hope at that point the words may bring something to the experience, they are words that have meant a lot to me. Hopefully they say something that may reach others as well. |
