| Introduction | I’m not native to Bridgeport. I grew up in New York State, in a little town called Fairport on the Erie Canal. I moved to Chicago in 1990. Since then, I've lived in neighborhoods from Hyde Park to Albany Park to Little Village. For most of that time, I’ve worked in the affordable housing industry. It's introduced me to neighborhoods I never actually lived in, and to some of the issues people struggle with, as their neighborhoods change. I first moved to Bridgeport in 2005.
