Introduction | I thought it was time to update my profile. I am a quilt artist! If I call myself that does it make it happen? I am enjoying the process. I have been sewing since I was about ten when I learned to sew on my mom's old Singer featherweight. I have sewn clothing, home dec, costumes, accessories, and now art. I love making costumes for my children but they have outgrown that phase so now I'm sending my creative flow in a new direction. It is so fun to see what you can do with some thread and a piece of cloth. The transformations are endless. I am a member of Minnesota Contemporary Quilters. They are a wonderful group of inspirational women. I am also a member of the Textile Center and Minnesota Quilters. I have recently joined SAQA to learn more from those who are established in this field. |
