| Introduction | After many years of working in the world of commercial art and a five-year stint as an owner/operator of an auto repair shop, I returned to my fine art “roots” in 2000. Initially I was drawn to watercolors, with their subtleness and freedom as they ran and bled with a mind of their own. Then I stumbled onto colored pencils. I have always been blessed with an ability to draw. Coupling that skill with the almost infinite array of colors and discreet lines, I was distracted from my paints. My oils are far bolder than my watercolor work. It’s almost as though another artist takes over in me. My art is an expression of my spirit. I hope you enjoy my work and my ramblings and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. |
