| Introduction | Jason is in his first year as an Attending Anesthesiologist at the Vanderbilt VA and Vanderbilt Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Em works part-time as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a Pediatric Clinical Instructor at Vanderbilt Nursing School, and an RN at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We have been married for 2 1/2 years and currently live in Nashville, TN. This year we have wanted to dedicate time to participating in medical mission trips...first on to Chiclayo, Peru this past January and now we are headed to Africa. For 2 weeks, Jason will be teaching Anesthesia and Em will be teaching pediatrics to nursing students in Kijabe, Kenya. Jason will be returning home on April 5th and Emily's mom, Dianne Ferrell will join her to spend time at Tumaini Orphanage for 8 days. |
