| Introduction | I love my home, and my gorgeous kids Daniel, Owen and Adam and my husband Tony. He's endlessly supportive of my schemes. But I also love traveling to somewhere totally amazing. I love exploring the different cultures, and more than anything about volunteering, I'm totally obsessed with how education changes EVERYTHING. It's the key to ensuring our kids with a disability have a full,interesting, productive and fun life as free from problems as possible. I'm so aware of the limitations of my own knowledge and skills, but I'm determined to share what I can with my Vietnamese friends. I'm also, with many reservations (Re: awareness of limitations!), willing to share anything I've done with anyone who is thinking of, is about to, or has already gone somewhere and is going again. So many people tell me they would love to do the stuff I do.... so do it! I want you to be inspired and share your knowledge and skills with someone else. Just be prepared to become obsessed like every other volunteer I know! |
