Introduction Though I started out majoring in English at Beloit College and later at Western Washington University, I was just as interested in history, theatre, and music. If I had mastered math I might have done something in the sciences too. Was married to Fred, but it didn't last and so I was a single mom in Bellingham WA. Something of a liberation to move to Portland OR 20 yrs ago. I've been in business as well as teaching and freelance editing, and am now enjoying being Reader and running this blog. I'm also something of an activist for environmental and social justice causes, and would be glad to introduce you to CREDO Mobile, which offers you a lot for your cell phone money including contributing to such organizations as Amnesty International and Earthjustice rather than to the right-wing pets of AT&T and Verizon. P.S. Someday soon I'll put up a picture of myself, and will master posting JPG images--but don't hold your breath!♠
