Introduction	I was born in South Omaha, Nebraska. I attended High School at Bryan Sr. High and was very active in writing for the school newspaper, The Orator. I also attended Metro College for a short period of time but life threw me a few twists and curves so, most my education came from the streets of South Omaha. I now have two beautiful children who complete me in so many ways. I decided to start this blog as a stepping stone for getting back into doing what I love -- writing. I would like to thank a few people, first, my children - Jacob and Gracie - who have helped me to realize how much I want to be a good role model for them. I want to teach them to follow their dreams. Brandy, for being a rock and helping me gain the confidence I need to start writing again and who bought me my first Moleskine notebook. Most of all I would like to thank my beautiful, supportive, loving, soul-mate Tuesday, who has taught me step-by-step how to find my voice. There are a few other people I want to mention: Lori, my folks, and all my friends who have recently shown me support on Facebook.
