| Introduction | After I retired from the University of Colorado Denver I asked myself what I'd do next. What did I know well? The answer: Tuscany. Since then I've written several books on Central Tuscany aimed at the repeat visitor, someone who has already seen the "biggies" and wants to return to enjoy more of the Tuscan life style, la dolce vita. When in Arezzo, Tuscany I work as a tour guide. When in the U. S., I help tourists plan itineraries taking in the smaller gems of Tuscany.
