Interests Punk Rock music, extremely violent zombie films, the books of Jack Kerouac and Hunter S. Thompson, black clothes, Carlsberg Special Brew beer, chocolate, gumbo, margaritas, whisky and coke, the collective works of Jon Downes and John Keel, and anything of a crypto-zoological nature.
Favorite Movies Ask a Policeman, V for Vendetta, Night of the Demon, Dead of Night, Carnival of Souls (the original), Dawn of the Dead (the re-make), Where's That Fire?, 28 Days Later, Oh Mr. Porter, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle, End of the Century, The Filth and the Fury, The Hound of the Baskervilles (the Rathbone & Bruce version), and pretty much all of the "Hammer" horror films from the mid 1950s until the dawn of the 1970s.
Favorite Music Fear-Factory, Macc Lads, Prodigy, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Riverdales, Julee Cruise, Undertones, Clash, Buzzcocks, Damned, Anti-Nowhere League, XTC, Skids, Vapors, Professionals, Oasis, Feeder, Rob Zombie, Ronettes, Crystals, Shangri-Las, Terrorvision, A, and pretty much anything that's classic punk, new-wave, 90s Brit-pop/rock, and hardcore techno. I hate folk music. I hate hippie music. I hate acoustic guitars. I hate jazz. I hate lots of things, and I hate more than I like.
Favorite Books Big Sur (Jack Kerouac), On the Road (also by the mighty Jack), The Rum Diary (Thompson, of course), Monster Hunter (by my good pal and head-honcho of the CFZ, Jonathan Downes), Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles, and John Keel's The Mothman Prophecies.
