| Introduction | I'm a wine lover and I like to cook. I spend tons of time with my wife, who is simply the best! She puts up with my little projects. In 2006, I had a heart valve replaced- MAJOR open-heart surgery! Things are back to normal now, but soon I’ll be getting another one! I have a CS degree, but I had a change of heart about working in the tech industry. I was out of town nearly every week for some thankless job. I left my Cisco network engineering job to become an X-ray tech. Now I'm home every day, so I can finally have a dog! Right out of x-ray school, a company hired me to teach me how to do MRI. I spent 12 months learning how to scan, then I worked 13 different hospital sites. Eventually, I left that company and went to work for Kaiser. A few years back, we moved into a bigger house with a 3-car garage so I can work on my cars/bikes. My wife is happy, because her kitchen got 2.5x larger! The dog is happy, because she has more house to run around in. We’re now in the Livermore wine country, so as wine drinkers, we are both ecstatic about the new location! I just recently retired, so now I have more time to work on my projects, and I can finally enjoy this awesome area I live in. |
| Interests | I love motorcycles! I mountain bike and snowboard, when I can. When I feel like it, I run. When the weekend is right, I'll go camping. And every chance I get, when the weather is nice, I'll smoke some ribs! A couple of times a year, I'll brew 5 gallons of beer. I just bought a new kegging system, so it's much easier to deal with now. |

| Favorite Music | Alternative, pop, blues and a whole lot of jazz! Hold the country and the opera, pleez... I just recently saw Big Head and the Monsters at the SF Fillmore. What a fantastic live show! I just heard that Belly (Tanya Donnelly's band) is getting back together- can't wait to see one of their shows! |
