Introduction	I am a young Black writer living in New York, wondering why on earth I got a degree in Creative Writing (which was more like a degree in literature, but why quibble?) when I could have been writing all along as a well paid Geologist. But that's neither here nor there. At the moment I write more fanfiction than is probably good for me (must edit novel!), read quite a bit, and am engaged in other highly geeky things...
