| Introduction | I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota in a family of five. Both my parents are Presbyterian ministers, so I have definitely earned the 'PK' status. After graduating from Macalester College with majors in Anthropology and African Studies, I decided to pursue my interest in both subjects by hopping on a plane headed to East Africa. Now I am spending one year in Nairobi, Kenya, through PCUSA Young Adult Volunteers working for an organization that does community development work in areas around the country. I absolutely love my work, and the experience I've had here so far! |
