| Introduction | Vatican City - Monaco. 700km of unmitigated pain. That's what 6 of us from Rider Levett Bucknall have decided to do. We have committed to the trial & tribulations that is running between the 2 smallest countries in the world. This will all commence within the walls of St Peter's Basilica on Sunday 13th September. In relay we will run 5 days straight, covering 140km each day. About a half marathon each per day. Sometimes up big hills. Sometimes in uncomfortable heat. Come blisters, injuries, exhaustion, we will work as 'team run' and power around the Italian coastline to our final destination - the start/finish line of the Monaco Grand Prix. Why? For CRASH. CRASH are the construction and property industries' charity for homeless people. They work closely with frontline homelessness agencies to make life better for hundreds of the most vulnerable people. In particular, they concentrate on improving and refurbishing hostels, day-centres, training-centres and move-on accommodation: their aim is to provide homeless people with a home from which they can begin to reconnect with society. |
