Introduction | I'm a mother of two and a grandmother. I've been a librarian for 27 years, 23 of them at a small Presbyterian college and seminary. I love seeing college students light up when I can help them find resources or when I recommend a book. I grew up on the East Coast, but feel more at home in the Midwest. I was born in a big city but prefer small towns. |
Interests | Reading: Children's books: especially British school stories and Images of Indians in children's literature, Reading British mysteries, my family, gardening (more from the angle of enjoying the results than actually doing the work), movies, concerts, plays especially Broadway, politics (hard to avoid in a caucus state) |
Favorite Movies | Anything I see with my grandchildren, Snow White, 84 Charing Cross Road, Blossoms in the Dust, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Devotion, Enchantment (Do you see a theme here?) |

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I like scarves from Liberty of London--but have you priced them lately?
