| Introduction | I write epic and urban fantasy, and I’ve completed the first draft of what might charitably be called a paranormal crime novel. I have published an e-book called Stormsinger–an 8,000-word fantasy story about a privateer, a stormwitch, a mysterious singer, and a prince engaged to be married against his wishes–and its sequels Stormshadow and Stormseer, as well as an unrelated epic fantasy novella Sow the Wind. I blog about writing, wineries, and as many nature parks and historic sites as I can visit. I’m happily single. I’m a Christ-follower. I’m cat-mom to Eowyn and her brother Strider and their annoying (and adorable) little brother Eustace Clarence Scrubb. I spend my work time doing historical research and blogging, and sharing my passion for history with others. I enjoy hiking (except for the inevitable encounters with spiders) and bird-watching and reading (anything I can get my hands on, but mostly fantasy & paranormal fiction and historical nonfiction), and own way more movie scores than I can really afford. |
