| Introduction | Mare's Chairs started with a curb-side kitchen stool stripped, repaired, painted and donated to the Friends of the Library in 1998. Today, more than 250 pieces have been donated including hand-made, recycled wool pillows, throws, and children's clothing. Charities include: Forbes Hospice, Mt. Lebanon Library, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Girls Hope, Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Outreach Teen and Family Services, Arthritis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, Debrah House Shelter for Women and Children, and ARC Allegheny |
