IntroductionMy name is Ellen Douglas. I am a boomer who is diving into my 'MID-LIFE AWAKENING'. My goal for this blog is to focus on living a quality filled life - which isn't always easy. Life is difficult. As someone who has dealt with depression, A.D.D., and living with a fragile bone disease (with 15+ broken bones), I understand how living a quality filled life can be a real challenge. But I have been blessed with many opportunities that have enriched my life. I have had many different jobs from being a DJ to working as an Exhibit Manager at a museum. I have also worked with a hospice and video-recorded the lives of many of my patients. I learned a great deal from them and hope to share some of that knowledge with you here. One of my main adventures was a 4000 mile roadtrip I took to interview strangers about contentment. I traveled for 30 days through twelve states and interviewed dozens of people from age 20-92. Again, I hope to share some of that insight here. Join me please. Share your stories and please give me feedback and let's see if we can encourage one another to find ways to live a quality filled life.
