| Introduction | Jack and I always loved the Ozarks. We knew we would eventually live here. At the first opportunity (I retired, he was between jobs) we found our 'mountain'. We lived in a small, one-room cabin in the backyard while the Amish builders completed our dream log home. They also built Eagle's Rest and Deer Pond Cabin(which we sold in 2009)We have enjoyed meeting the many guests that come to the cabin.
