| Introduction | I grew up in Western Maryland. However, I have lived in South Carolina since coming during my high school years. I graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Humanities. My husband and I lived in Charleston, SC, for seven years before moving to Newberry, SC, and then finally to Greenville, S.C. I have studied art under the direction of my mother, Grace Scherer; Greenville artists, Darrell Koons and Michelle Radford; New York watercolor artist, Margaret Martin; and AWS/NWS artists, Steve Rogers and Donna Zagotta. I currently paint solely in watercolor. I love a wide variety of subject matter including florals, architecture, people, and landscape. I participate in Greenville’s Open Studios each November. My original watercolor paintings and giclee prints can be found in private collections across the United States and in several foreign countries. |
