| Introduction | Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer Miller. I am an eighth grade English teacher at Ynez School in Monterey Park. I also run the student government there. I spend a lot of time with my graduating students because I feel like they make me a better person. I learn more each year from my students than I thought possible. I received my BA in liberal arts and my MA in education from Chapman University. I hold both a multiple subject and single subject CA teaching credential. I am also back in school to receive my second MA in English and Writing. I hope to expand my horizons to teaching literature at a University level, while staying with my wonderful adolescents at the middle school. In my free time, I enjoy reading everything I can get my hands on, although my secret favorite recently is Young Adult literature,especially paranormal and science fiction. I also run around the block with my loving husband, Eric, and my border collie, Sadie. While also seeming to maintain a wonderful relationship with my personal trainer at Beyond Fitness/A Warrior's Heart. |
