| Introduction | I live with my husband Ron, numerous horses, and of course Ika, in the foot hills of the Shenandoah Mountains in Virginia. I am an avid rider. Many of my horses are part of this book because of their relationship with Ika. I have been a freelance writer most of my life. My most recent column appeared for a number of years in "The Fauquier Times Democrat" entitled: “Just Horsin Around”. It was a weekly column with humorous stories of horses and their people.
