Introduction | I’m a Northern California native where my partner and I live with our senior dog and cat. I'm a total kid at heart, and I absolutely love being in nature which is where I draw most of my inspiration. I love knitting. It brings me comfort and joy and is my favorite outlet for creativity. I find color and texture therapeutic, and discovering interesting combinations of the two is one of my favorite parts of designing. As a knitwear designer I strive to create pieces with easy functionality and fun fashion-ability, and to write patterns that are clear and concise with plenty of tips to make your knitting stress-free, even if you're learning something new. I also love hand-stitching. I believe in repairing rather than replacing. I believe that there is beauty in imperfections, and I find that my mended items end up being my favorite items. They become a unique, wearable piece of art, an opportunity to express our individual style and taste. The fashion industry is responsible for an enormous amount of waste that pollutes our world. Mending is a way we can help reduce that waste. |

There is beauty in imperfections, and beauty itself is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
