| Introduction | I live in the beautiful, picturesque province of Newfoundland and Labrador and love taking off with my camera to the many outports and coastal areas where the old way of life is quickly fading. I hope I've recaptured some of it through my photos along with some of the most beautiful scenery Newfoundland has to offer.
Photography has always been a favorite pastime for me. I got my first camera when I was 12. It was an old Kodak Instamatic that used the bulky 126 film then years later moved to 35mm with Minolta and Canon. I’m currently using a Canon Rebel digital XSI and only now getting acquainted with its manual settings. Though, most of my earlier pictures, shown here in the blog were taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2, an impressive little camera. I am eagerly waiting for the chance to get out again and photograph some very colorful autumn scenes in the Humber Valley area soon! |
