Introduction	As a seven year old I sat watching the London Marathon on TV, a new pair of sneakers on my feet. I thought to myself 'I can do that, how hard can it be to run a marathon?'. Today I'm still asking the same question, only now after 30 years of sedentary living, couch loving and cake eating, I'm discovering the answer: it's hard, painful and really very strange. Which means, naturally, I'm addicted. I'm really interested in hearing other people's journeys into this divine and strange pursuit, so please go nuts with comments and links!
