| Introduction | I love investigating and sharing the stories of women's lives . . who we are, how we got to where we are, what it is that we really want, and what motivates us to move forward. As a philosopher, I am very interested in the mind/body connection . . how our perceptions influence our feelings and actions. And as a psychologist, I am interested in what keeps us stuck and what we can do to finally "unstick" ourselves so that we can find contentment and peace. I hold an earned doctorate from Saybrook University (San Francisco, CA); a master's of science from University of Illinois - Chicago); and a BSN from St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing (Peoria, IL). As a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) and Psychologist, my years of experience include those in Family Practice, Women's Health, Mental Health and Emergency Medicine. I have taught Baccalaureate Nursing (Health Assessment, Women's Health, Psychiatric Mental Health) and currently teach undergraduate and graduate Psychology specializing in Personality Theory, Behavioral and Biological Psychology. |
