| Introduction | I grew up on the outskirts of a large city, but spent a great deal of time on my grandparent's farm where I fell in love with nature and animals. I now live in a small town where my yard borders a wooded wetland area and I continue to enjoy the nature around me. My mother introduced me to sewing and I grew to love working with my hands and creating things in a variety of mediums. After completing my two degrees in Medical Technology and Electrical Engineering, I worked my way up in a large medical diagnostics company to become Director of Product Support managing multiple support groups worldwide. Throughout my business career I traveled extensively and used my creativity as an outlet for stress. My creative interests are quite diverse because I love to learn new things. I really enjoy taking a concept, creating a design, and the challenge of molding that design into a final product whether it is a physical item, electronic card, video, or animated presentation. I have gotten out of the corporate rat race and am now channeling my creative passion into an entrepreneurial direction. |
