Introduction My Greatest "Interest" Is To Be Continued In Jesus. . .I am a Work in Progress, and, yet, I am complete at my core in Him. What a paradox, but is that not the beauty and the mystery of the Gospels and My Lord? He is both the most real and truthful thing ever and a sweet mystery in some of His interactions. He is not the least bit predictable in His expressions of love toward me (or you). As to the variations within me, I am like this in that I write and think from a deeply spiritual, philosophical, and sentimental perspective, but to know me is to laugh with me and at my comic and sometimes "goofy" jokes and ways. In Jesus, I am a Masterpiece already painted but hidden under layers of "dripping paint" and "daily grime." While the Masterpiece is in my core, Jesus is still the author and finisher of this portrait, and He is still brushing, perfecting, detailing, and blending my journey every day. He refines the imprint, and He pens the tale of a life still unfolding.

If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?

Clay is the purest form of "mud," since it is a "dirt" mixed with water that has been sifted of gravel and debris to make a denser, richer, finer form of mud. Actually, this is a total hypothesis based on personal observations. I think I am romanticizing dirt at this time. If I can romanticize dirt, then that means I'm pretty good at romanticizing, right? Tee-Hee.
