| Introduction | I started writing my first novel when I was 12. That one isn't finished yet... but others are. Writing and I have been battling ever since, but once I found NaNoWriMo and WEbook, that all changed. I have met the NaNoWriMo Goal (50k words in 30 days) seven of the eight times I've tried, and am looking forward to participating every year as long as I can get to a keyboard. WEbook opened entirely new vistas to me as a writer, and since joining in late July of 2008, I have written nearly 400 stories, essays, novel chapters, and the odd poem. My first completed novel, FIVE won the writer's competition and is now being prepped for publication. I continue to write fiction stories and novels, as well as non-fiction essays on writing, and trust you will find something in them that speaks to you. |
