| Introduction | The forum seeks to groom emerging leaders by availing a platform to develop and nurture leadership skills needed to become transformative and Socratic leaders. Bringing together graduate students from different fields, the forum recognizes the need to redefine leadership as encompassing a multi-disciplinary approach. In addition, Bokamoso strives to create an unwavering network of emerging leaders to aid the free flow of innovative ideas developed to further the interests of Africa. Objectives: - To viciously promote the fundamentals of democracy - To highlight the deep democratic tradition and capacity of Africa and how our future leaders can draw from that tradition - Produce leaders that understand governance not as an end but as a process - Produce leaders that define policy not as a weapon to exclude but as a tool to empower - We seek to produce leaders that are both scholars and activists |
