| Introduction | Who Cares? LLC started as a class project. After thumbing through a women's magazine, I thought, "why do women pay so much money to advertise for these companies?" (Thinking of a classic status-symbol handbag design that features the designer's initial.) Then I wondered what the money could buy instead of that bag, and we were born. I didn't want it to stop there. I wanted people to know exactly what they were giving money to, because knowledge is power! And once someone knows that a child dies every 3 seconds because of AIDS or extreme poverty, or that 15 million children worldwide have lost one or both parents as a result of AIDS, could you really walk away and say, "Who Cares?" Or do you care? Really? |
