I love living in the city, being a mother, cooking elaborate meals for my family from scratch, the smell of fresh laundry, planting flowers and plants in my tiny concrete postage stamp of a backyard, watercolor painting, baking cookies, and talking to strangers. This is my attempt to step back and appreciate the extraordinary little things that happen to me every day, but I am often too flustered and busy to take notice of or savor. |
