Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

Forks actually evolved from broken spoons. The jagged remnants of mutilated spoons provided the first glimspe of the "tine." Wise metalworkers devised methods for uniformly breaking sets of spoons which were then honed with small files, creating the first forks. On a related note, this historic achievement led plasticworkers to re-meld the two into the spork.
