About me

IndustryNon-Profit
OccupationCommunity Organizer/Trophy Wife
LocationAustin, TX, United States
IntroductionI was born in Hong Kong May of 1981 to an hippie, Hendrix lovin' mama and an architect father who nicely filled out his white polyester suits while he did the Hustle with his white-boy 'fro. I grew up overseas, living in Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Macau and Hong Kong--as of right now, I have lived on three continents, in 6 countries and over 25 houses. I found my Feminist voice along the way--probably because of my fantastic parents and the books they bought me when I was a little grrrl. I put the theory into praxis as a Women's and Gender Studies and Government major at UT Austin. I live in Austin with my partner Mandy. We have created a home and a life together and plan on starting a family in the next few years. Our relationship is not protected by the State of Texas or by the United States of America. I have a pug and a snoodle, a passion for movies, and propensity to fall down while walking unencumbered. I also paint and cook. My motto is:"You should conduct yourself in life as at a feast" (Epoctetus). So, pass the Queso fries and let's watch Rachel Maddow!

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

No, when it comes to cutlery and utensils I am a staunch believer in creationism, oops, I mean intelligent design.
