| Introduction | My name is Phillip and welcome to Fuzzy, Black Dogs -- my blog, my literary outpost of funny situations, ideas, writings, and poetry. As you can see from the photo above, I was once the proud owner of THREE fuzzy, black dogs. They were, from left to right, Bob, Ace and Lilly. Bob, the spaniel, was our rescue dog. The poor thing was found undernourished running around by the side of the road somewhere in rural North Carolina. He rescued himself by refusing to leave 10 square meals a day. This blog is NOT necessarily about the dogs. It's all about me. And who am I? I'm a writer. I'm an avid dog owner (duh!). I'm a dedicated father and husband. I'm an educator of first grade minds. I'm a creative soul, who enjoys expressing himself through written word, as well as through photography. If Fuzzy, Black Dogs doesn't make you laugh, I truly hope it will entertain you!
