Introduction | Debra grew up in Manhattan Beach, California and currently lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband. She loves animals and has 9 cats (8 are feral) and a German Shepherd. She also has a horse boarded nearby. Debra is a graduate of CSU, Long Beach. She is a published author and for fun writes about her passion for animals. She specializes in creative non-fiction, including child abuse, grief issues and learning disabilities. She's completed a book on dyslexia and is in the research stage on two more learning disability picture books. She and several other writers are collaborating on a book relating to grief issues.
