| Introduction | Alter Studio was founded in 2006 by a unit of talented designers, Georgia and Valentina, with Italian education and experience. Their rich background as world travelers consists of working and living in Europe and Asia. Alter Studio carefully use all their senses in everyday life, wishing to create not only products, but also to give new concepts, new ideas, and stimulate, create new ways of living or looking at things. Alter Studio wishes people to appreciate and say that the design is good; they want to feel the excitement and joy of hearing those words. They strongly believe in giving a story behind each product. They are always looking for new innovative manufacturing processes or materials. They care for the environment; therefore they make careful choices for the materials. Alter Studio keeps challenging themselves even with genres in which they have never been involved before. By letting them work in other genres, they experience diverse processes, learn more things and mostly let through a journey of incredible concepts and inspirations. That’s why Alter Studio believes that they are simply “other” designers. |
