| Introduction | I am a lowly lecturer at CWU in Anthropology and American Indian Studies. My specialization is historic/contact period from my time working for/with the Mashantucket Pequot as well as several other southern New England/Long Island Algonquin groups,the US Park and Forest Services and Strawbery Banke Museum.I recently uncovered the information that my family has Wampanoag, Pennacook and Wabanaki ancestry, This has turned my life long interest into a personal quest to find out more about the lives and history of New England's Native People. |
