Introduction	When I was much younger I dreamed of living in the mountains far from cars and suburbs and auto factories. I was armed with a Sierra Club calendar and a subscription to Mother Earth News and was sure that the Good Life was out there. I married the first Colorado man I met (well okay, the only one). It turned out just fine and we're still together after all these years. Raising children (all grown into lovely young women), lambs and chickens, and still trying to grow tomatoes at 7,000 feet.

Favorite movies	A Streetcar Named Desire, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (go figure?), The Missing, The Road, The Out of Towners, Rob Roy (for the kilts, you know), To Kill a Mockingbird, Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
Favorite music	Bob Dylan,The Byrds (especially Sweetheart of the Rodeo),Leon Russell,John Prine,scores from The Fantastiks ("plant a cabbage get a cabbage, not a brussel sprout. That's why I love vegetables - you know what you're about!),the Phantom of the Opera,Man of La Mancha.
Favorite books	Excellent Women, The Sweet Dove Died,The Devil in the White City, Outlander.
