Introduction	I guess you could say when it comes to sewing, I come from an "old school" background. I was in 4-H, majored in Home Econmomics Education, taught Home Ec (now FACS) and was a county extension agent before joining Coats & Clark's Consumer & Education department 22 years ago. I enjoy the construction aspect of sewing. I mostly sew home decor items. I love quilts and quilting, but I'm not a quilter. I hope to contribute to the blog sewing how-to's & information--"sewing secrets" that will help in your everyday sewing and some fun projects along the way. I head up the Consumer Services department so from time to time I'll share questions I receive with you.
