Introduction	This blog is about a big-time city boy pastoring a church in a town of 400 people. Most of our people wear cowboy boots and I have never owned a pair. We all come from different backgrounds but we are unified through the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. He has united us together in a remarkable way. This blog exists to celebrate Jesus and his power to radically transform the lives of His servants. I have chosen the term "wimpy" because I can't do anything apart from the grace of God. I have been serving as pastor at EBC since November 2009. I will finish my master's degree in August from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and will begin a doctorate in leadership at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in January of 2013.
Interests	I enjoy playing golf, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.
Favorite movies	Remember the Titans, Flywheel, Gladiator, Courageous
Favorite music	Classical, Contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship
Favorite books	Anything by Joel Rosenberg or Steven James. I also enjoy reading about Church History.
