| Introduction | We are preparing to embark on an epic adventure over the entirety of 2017. January 1st marks the start of our "S.A. Big Year", in which we will attempt to see more species of birds in South Australia in a calendar year than we have ever done before. Dave's previous best total way back in 1994 was 315 and we hope to surpass this by a substantial margin in 2017. It's not going to be easy, in fact far from it. Bird numbers have declined across the board, access to some of the better known birding areas is no longer possible and to top it off we still have to work for a living! We intend to make regular posts to keep those who want to follow along up to date on where we are and how its all going here on Facebook and on Twitter @SueTytoalba. Wish us luck its gonna be huge |
