Introduction	For one week (October 11-18) I lived in a hand-assembled shanty house much like those found in rural slums in many developing nations. Like some 2.6 billion people worldwide (World Resources Institute) I lived off of less than $2 a day. I ate, slept, and bathed on site and did my best to engage people in conversation about my work, my experience, and their perspective. Maria Boland maintained this blog while the performance was taking place. A special thanks to Maria and thank you all for your time and compassion. ~Cory
