| Introduction | I chose the title ODD mom not just because my child has O.D.D. but also because I cannot, by any means, be considered bland or "normal." I love being a bit quirky and off-center and thus chose to embrace my "oddness!" I'm a widow in my late 40's with two wonderful, exasperating, rambunctous, fascinating, aggravating, lovable boys. One challenges me with his O.D.D. and ADHD, both amaze me with their intellect, and both often aggravate me! I began this blog as a way to look at, live with, learn from, and hopefully destress from, my life with a child who has O.D.D. and ADHD and his brother who, although he does not have these problems, often emulates and learns from his brothers misbehavior. |
