| Introduction | The 'skinny' behind the title, the chef's table is an exclusive, private table in the kitchen of fine restaurants: a unique perspective, a front row seat to the preparation of the meal. The basis of my blog is related to this. I won’t report on advanced culinary techniques, because I don't COOK, I EAT- but will provide insight of what a professional Chef prepares at home & the ingredients he uses (my Chef, trained & certified in classic techniques, is a baking & pastry whiz). We are obsessed with farm freshness & local, and conscious of critter welfare- hopefully you get that because my intention is not to stress this to the point of being obnoxious. If you are carnivorous, don't expect my entries to be of much interest but maybe you will get a laugh or a snort out of it- I vote snort, snorts are funnier. Also expect some commentary on our agritourism adventures or possibly other DIY food-related ventures. So, I invite you to @ Chef's Table, every night I feel like writing!
