| Introduction | I have been working at the Blegen Library since July 2000. I have a B.A. in Archaeology, received in 1997 from the University of Athens. Even though I participated in excavation projects with the 2nd Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities and with the Ephorate of Palaeoanthropology and Caves, unfortunately working in the fields did not last. Having spent 7 years working in the Blegen Library I developed a great interest in learning more about Library science which is developing so rapidly due to new technologies. That’s why I decided to change my route. So now I’m just completing the first year of the Postgraduate Distance Learning Program in Information and Library Studies (MSc Econ/Diploma) at University of Aberystwyth (Wales). |
