| Introduction | My name is Rosemary. I love reading the scriptures and sharing things I learn. That is the focus of this blog. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I enjoy gospel study and sharing what I learn with others. I thought a blog would be a great way to share some of the things I learn as I study each week. This year I am studying the New Testament. Anything I share may come from a variety of commentaries. I do not like citing sources. I will only do so, if I am quoting something verbatim. I am not doing this blog to make money nor do I want those who read the blog to infringe on the copyrights of others I may quote. |

| Favorite movies | As a young woman I loved Gone with the Wind. As a mature woman I like movies with an uplifting theme of triumphing over great challenges to finding joy. Those are usually things I find on the Hallmark Channel. |
| Favorite music | My favorite male vocalist is Josh Groban. I enjoy any music that stirs the soul--classical or hymn arrangements with lots of orchestra. I do like popular music, but only those with lyrics. I am not fond of rap, unless my grandson, Garrison, who is autistic, performs it. Then it is a real treat. I do like the old rock and roll from the 50s and into the 60s. Then there are always the great songs of the band era. |
