Introduction	I've been interested in severe weather and it's many attributes since I was in high school. I'm particularly fascinated by spring and summer thunderstorms with their lightning, hail, tornadoes and spectacular cloud formations, but it's the lightning and cloud structures that I specifically love about storms. I've experienced most of the attributes of severe thunderstorms like hail, strong winds, lightning and flash floods. I have yet to see a tornado though. I hope this blog will not only showcase my storm photos and severe weather in South Africa, but will also educate and create awareness about severe weather in general, especially here in South Africa, where there seems to be very little awareness about it.
