Introduction	Mommy Made It came about out of a love and desire to make cute little hair accessories for my little girl. She has worn hand-made headbands, clips and bows since she was just months old. I craved something a bit more stylish, and some cases, more subtle than the selections I saw out in the marketplace, and I was dismayed to find that all the unique and stylish items that were available were pretty pricey (like more than $10.00), so I, being a crafty person at heart, got busy making headbands, which grew to simple bows, and now includes elaborate, very fashionable designs for my own daughter. The many compliments she receives wherever we go, started Mommy Made It! I am Monique, wife of 14 years to a wonderful husband; mother of a 4 year old son and 21 month old daughter; owner of a personal chef company; culinary arts faculty instructor; homeschooling mother; and most recently a student again, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts in December 07. Whew! That all said, what I really love to do when I get a moment is scrapbook, refinish furniture, and make bows. I now share my daughter's hair accessory collection with the world!!
