Introduction	Welcome to Pitching Pennies Poetry. It is a rather strange name for a poetry blog, so I will explain. Years ago, sitting in an all night cafe sipping coffee and in a lively discussion about peace and war. I made a statement that ultimately peace would be attained not with guns and bombs but with poets' pens and artists' brushes. A very hawkish acquaintance told me I'd do better pitching pennies... and there you have it. So glad you're here. Let's make peace!!
